Often overlooked in favor of the more famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro, Tarangire is a hidden gem known for its enormous herds of elephants, which often number in the hundreds. The park is also home to a variety of other wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a myriad of bird species. One of the park’s most iconic features is its towering baobab trees, which dot the landscape, providing an extraordinary backdrop for game drives.
