Vidalista 2.5 contains the active ingredient Tadalafil, which is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Its mechanism of action involves blocking the PDE5 enzyme in the smooth muscle cells of the blood vessels in the penis. Vidalista 2.5 mg inhibition leads to an increase in cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels, which causes the relaxation of smooth muscles and vasodilation (widening of blood vessels). As a result, blood flow to the penis is enhanced, helping to achieve and maintain an erection in response to sexual stimulation. Vidalista 2.5 is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction and sometimes pulmonary arterial hypertension.
