Kho-Kho is a traditional Indian sport played by two teams of 12 players each, with 9 active players on the field at a time. The game is played on a rectangular field measuring 27 meters in length and 16 meters in width. The objective is for one team (the chasers) to catch the opposing team (the defenders) within a specified time. Here are some basic kho kho rules and regulation .
Basic Rules
Teams and Players: A team consists of 12 players, with 9 players taking the field at a time. The game is played over two innings, where each team gets a turn to chase and defend.
Chasing and Defending: One team takes the role of chasers while the other team defends. The defenders try to avoid being touched by the chasers, who aim to catch them within a set time.
